About S.tri

Founded on January 21st, 2026, S.tri (pronounced es–tri) is a womenswear label founded by Saachi Tripathi. The name draws from both her own identity and the Sanskrit word “स्त्री” (Stri) – meaning woman – symbolizing a connection between the designer and every woman the brand represents.

The brand draws inspiration from the many forms of Goddess Durga — each representing strength, intuition, softness, fire, and an unshakable inner voice. S.tri celebrates women who are building their own paths: the entrepreneurs, the students, the dreamers, the decision-makers, and the ones still discovering who they want to be.

Each piece is thoughtfully created to be functional and minimal yet expressive — the kind of clothing that stays with you as you evolve through different seasons of life.

S.tri is not about dressing women up.
It is about empowering them to show up — fully, confidently, and unapologetically.

From the founder

“Hi, I’m Saachi Tripathi — the Stri behind S.tri. I’m a fashion graduate from NIFT, and I’ve always carried a soft corner for intentional design, especially in womenswear. Somewhere along the way, I realised something simple but true: womenswear often forgets women. I kept noticing what was missing — pockets that actually hold things, designs that move with you, fabrics that feel good, pieces that can be worn in more than one way.
So I made myself a promise: to create clothing that understands women rather than asking women to adjust. S.tri is my way of giving that thought shape — pieces that help every Stri feel capable, comfortable, and completely herself in her own clothes. Every piece I create carries that intention—soft, considered, and made for whoever chooses to wear it. This brand is my way of sharing that vision with the world, one garment at a time.”
